While majority of Mount Kenya University Rwanda students are Rwanda nationals, the institution has
equally attracted a growing number of international students. Our mission is to provide international and
competitive standards of cutting edge education and training in Health Sciences, Business, Hospitality and Tourism, Media/Communication, and Technology.
These are our niche and flagship academic programmes. Indeed, the School of Nursing alone has most recently recorded the highest national applicant preference for those interested in entry level for the Nursing profession and those interested in advancing their education.
In order to achieve this noble mission, Mount Kenya University Rwanda has implemented its ten-year strategic plan which is anchored inter alia on Infrastructure, Teaching and Learning, Student Welfare and Research and Innovation. In the last four years, we have invested massive resources on the infrastructure which include a modern state-of-the-art campus with adequate science and computer laboratories.
