The School of Law at Mount Kigali University supports Rwanda’s Vision 2050 by offering a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Master’s in Commercial and Investment Law. These programmes are designed to develop skilled legal professionals capable of serving Rwanda and the wider region in diverse areas of legal practice.
The School focuses on closing existing gaps in legal expertise by producing competent graduates who contribute to policy formulation and enforcement in commerce and investment, provide professional consultancy services, engage in legal research, and teach in higher education institutions. Students also benefit from exposure to international commercial and investment law through interactions with legal experts and academic conferences.
The programmes are delivered through a learner-centred approach that includes lectures, tutorials, group discussions, practical demonstrations, assignments, and field visits, ensuring that graduates acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical legal skills.
