Dr. Douglas Omwenga Nyabuga is the Dean of the School of Computing, Informatics and Media Studies at Mount Kigali University. He holds a PhD in Enterprise Information Systems and Engineering from Donghua University, China, and has over fourteen years of experience in higher education. He has served as Dean, Associate Dean, Assistant Lecturer and Ethics Review Committee Chairperson, leading curriculum development, programme accreditation, research and academic administration.
His expertise includes Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Human-Computer Interaction, Image Processing, Remote Sensing and Enterprise Information Systems. He has published extensively in international journals and conferences and serves as a reviewer for several leading scientific journals.

The Mount Kigali University School of Health Sciences offers modern, industry-focused programmes in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Dental Therapy, Dental Technology, General Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Midwifery, designed to equip students with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills for today’s integrated healthcare systems. Supported by the University Medical Centre, students gain hands-on clinical experience, and all admissions meet regulatory requirements.
