Empowering Legal Excellence in Rwanda
The School of Law at Mount Kigali University supports Rwanda’s Vision 2050 by offering a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Master’s in Commercial and Investment Law. These programmes are designed to develop skilled legal professionals capable of serving Rwanda and the wider region in diverse areas of legal practice.
The School focuses on closing existing gaps in legal expertise by producing competent graduates who contribute to policy formulation and enforcement in commerce and investment, provide professional consultancy services, engage in legal research, and teach in higher education institutions.

Academic Law Programs

Bachelor of Law (Honors) LLB
- Requirements: Two principal passes in Humanities or Social Sciences (before 2024) OR at least 50% overall average after 2024.
- English language proficiency required.
- Tuition Fees: 320,000 RWF per semester.
Master of Law - International Commercial & Investment Laws
- Requirements: LLB degree or related degree with law background (BBM / BCOM).
- Academic Standings: Minimum of 60% final year average. Below 60% requires relevant work experience.
- English language proficiency required.
- Tuition Fees: 725,000 RWF per semester.
