The Mount Kigali University (MKU) Group has taken a significant step toward enhancing collaboration, efficiency, and institutional excellence through the inauguration of a Cross-Institutional Strategic Coordination and Human Capital Committee.
The committee brings together leadership from the Group’s key entities, including Mount Kigali University, Kigali Paramount Hotel, Royal FM, the University Medical Centre, and University Hostels, to foster closer coordination and shared strategic direction.
Established by the Board of Directors, the committee will focus on promoting joint initiatives, strengthening human capital management, enhancing service delivery, and encouraging resource-sharing across the Group. Through regular consultations and strategic oversight, the committee aims to ensure that the various institutions work together effectively to achieve common goals and create greater value for students, staff, and stakeholders.
Speaking during the inaugural meeting, the Chairperson, Irene Miako, Group Human Resource Director, emphasized the importance of meaningful collaboration, noting that the committee’s success will be measured by the impact of its recommendations and the value it creates across the Group.
The initiative reflects the MKU Group’s vision of operating as an integrated ecosystem where education, healthcare, hospitality, media, and student support services complement one another in delivering excellence and advancing the institution’s strategic goals
